Our
History
We were formed in 1990, as a part of the National Multiple Sclerosis Utah Chapter’s fundraising, serving the Salt Lake and surrounding area picking up used clothing as donations.
In 1998 we became the Friends of MS Charities, a non-profit 501c3 organization that raises funds by picking up Clothing, Accessories, Miscellaneous and Shoes as donations and employing persons with disabilities
Why to donate?
Friends of MS Charities has been a point of collection for clothing and household donations. Thanks to your donations We have been able to donate over $2,400,000 to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society Utah Chapter, $120,000 to the University of Utah for research and treatments, and paid over $2,500,000 in salaries to disabled employees. Friends of MS Charities is a non-profit 501c3 organization and is not affiliated with the National Multiple Sclerosis Society or any of its chapters.
